Internship Description
- The internship will be during the 2014-15 winter season - November through mid-April.
- We will assist you in getting either a part or full time position at the mountain. (Most positions include a season's pass.) This is not a paid internship, which means you will have to pay for your living expenses by working at the mountain.
- We will also assist you in finding affordable housing
- You will participate in the established ministries going on at our different resorts. You will also be encouraged to develop new ways to reach out to the resort community that fit with your specific gifts and interests.
- You will have lots of time and fun riding the mountain, but this internship is not an excuse to snowboard or ski all winter. It is an opportunity to give a winter of your life (or perhaps more) to Christ and to reach out to a community that is desperate for the hope He offers.
- Skiing and Snowboarding are the platforms by which we do ministry, so a passion for those sports is necessary. You do not need to be a pro by any means, but you must love to shred!
Should You Apply?
To apply for an internship, you must meet a couple of requirements:
- You are a Christian and agree with the Apostles Creed.
- You are willing to put in 10 to 15 hours at least a week towards ministry. We recognize that some weeks you'll be able to give more and others less, depending on your work schedule.
